Update: The Rufus House's Response to COVID-19

Dear friends and clients of The Rufus House

Despite of the Government strategy on preventing the spread of COVID-19 infections,  new infected case and new death figures have risen alarmingly in the last 10 days.

Prime Minster made announcement today and UK citizens were asked to stay home. (We are allowed to go essential shopping-chemist and food- and once a day outdoor exercise.)

Following this announcement and Government directive, we are sorry to inform you that we will be closing The Rufus House from Tuesday 24th March till further notice.

If you have a booking with us between 24th March and 25th June, you will be receiving a call from us to reschedule your booking to a more appropriate time.

Whilst no one can predict when COVID-19 pandemic will be under control, it would happen in due course. At the moment, we are working on the assumption of 12 weeks as the PM indicated.

Owners will continue to work from home and will be happy to take reservations from Friday 26th June onwards.

Under this exceptional conditions, we all need to vigorously follow Government guidelines to avoid overshoot for well-being of all UK citizens.  By so doing, we can look forward to welcoming you back to The Rufus House in this beautiful New Forest National Park as soon as possible.

We will keep regular posting on our homepage to keep in touch with you to report Spring foals and New Forest nature.
